Hi! Just wanted to check in quickly and see how everyone’s training is going. Mine is going really well! I had a nasty ankle sprain that I’ve been working around for the last month, but it feels so much better now. I’ve been doing a lot of cardio and circuit training and even building in some run intervals on the treadmill. Most of you know I’m a swimmer, not a runner (barely even a jogger), so trying to improve my running is my current focus.
On Monday evening I’m going to be taking part in a ‘neon’ spin class involving loud music, black lights and 3 trainers. It is a special 1.5 hour session and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve also really made some big adjustments to my diet because I found out I wasn’t eating enough protein for the amount of muscle I have. It took some work at first, but I’m adjusting to it nicely and really seeing some big improvements in my overall fitness.
Aside from that, we waterbloggers have an exciting announcement we’ll be making soon – bear with me because I’m excited but don’t want to say too much too soon.
