Quality Work Requires Quality Rest

There is no doubt that triathletes are driven people – and sometimes driven people have a hard time sitting still.

It is so important for triathletes to remember to schedule recovery days into their training plan. Why? Because resting allows muscles to recover (by recover, I mean get stronger). Recovery becomes even more important as athletes age, with older athletes requiring more rest than their younger counterparts.
